Albany Agricultural Show
Founded in 1889, this year is the 122
in the Society’s 127th
year history. This community based event takes place over two days each year in mid-November with the aim of promoting, encouraging and assisting the development of the resources of Albany and the Great Southern Region. The Society is a not-for-profit organisation and has been located at Centennial Oval since 1930. Show attendance in has consistently numbered over 18,000 over the last few years. Over 4,000 section competition entries can also be viewed annually.
The 2017 Show returned to Centennial Park Eastern Precinct after being temporarily located at the Albany Leisure and Aquatic Centre, while the new showgrounds were being redeveloped.
From 2018 the show will be showcased on the redeveloped showgrounds.
